Part Time: 29.2 hours per week (80% FTE)

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £36,064 - £39,132 per annum, pro rata, inclusive of London Allowance.

The Department of Geography at UCL is a research-led department with an international reputation, offering innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The Department wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow in the area of Urban Studies who will make a full contribution to the department's programmes, deliver lectures and taught modules, undertake personal tutoring and teaching administration.

The post is available for the period 16 September 2013 until mid-September 2014 to cover research leave.

The successful candidate will have (or have submitted for examination) a PhD in geography or a related discipline, and experience of teaching relevant material at undergraduate and MSc level. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching and learning, who can contribute their own ideas about enhancing the student experience in our department, in cooperation with other members of staff.
